Just like fun and joy bring on more fun and joy, frazzled freak outs beget more frazzled freak outs. It’s just how the universe works. Try creating space in your life for many mini-meditations throughout the day - this always helps me remember what my goal is (and to ignore the stress/negative thoughts that get in the way of it ;) ) With love!!
From zen habits by Leo Babauta
Changing habits, at its core, is simply a process of changing what’s normal for you.
This is something I’ve done myself a gajillion times over the last 7-8 years:
- not smoking became my new normal (lots of pain for a month or so)
- running became normal
- …
I really like the “small & simple” approach mentioned in this article - hard part is deciding which habits to break first ;D !
I think this is a fantastic example of the human potential to learn through play / experimentation - and even more so of the intuitiveness of current mobile UI (so another huge props to #apple & #stevejobs for revolutionizing how humans interact with technology!) Great article!
Brilliant video on how to be a true innovator and leader - in business and life. Learn your “Why” and grow from there. Thank you @SimonSinek for the insights!!
I like to remind myself of this since it seems like I’m constantly bumbling my way towards my goals ;D
Remember, we live in a world of energy and abundance. There is not a finite amount of “success” to be shared, there’s more than enough in the universe for everyone. Being able to love, support and encourage everyone to reach their full potential is a universal win-win :)

This quote is really powerful for me… the first time I read it, I realized I had been doing just that for years.
Tony Robbins: Why Some People Take Massive Action & Some Don’t
What can I say, I love Tony Robbins. This video rocked my world & gave me a fantastic epiphany to round out 2012 and clear the way for 2013. The first 1-2 mins set up is not the best, so skip to the part that they start the interview for the goodness if you’re in a hurry.
I’m a visual learner so the diagram Tony walks you through was really powerful for me (it’s on a post-it on my monitor right now actually!). As I think we all know by now, setting goals is easy - following through on them is not. Any way I can trick my brain to higher levels of productivity and dedication is a win for me. Thanks Tony!!

2012 was a very challenging year. Massive highs and equally excessive lows. It felt very much like a trial by fire and I’m so ready (!) for 2013 to sweep all things ‘12 away. Let it be thought of as a preparatory year: let 2013 be the doorway to a whole new exciting world!

I like the idea that if I just put the energy in, something positive is bound to come my way!
Listen to the mesmerizing (and funny) Jim Rohn share his wisdom. Run from mediocrity. Ascend!
